Early parish register details are sparse. Although the children are shown as ‘born to Robert’, the mother is not mentioned until later, at her death, where a margin note reads, ‘Wife of Robert’. So, she is assigned to this family.
The origin of Robert is not clear, but my gut feeling is that he must be one of the unnamed grandchildren mentioned in the will of Margaret, in 1589. (see BOD -9/1)
