NOTES:- (From James Bodenham of Gloucester in 2007)
After Abel died, Esther ‘remarried’ her deceased sister’s husband, George LEWIS, and they had 2 sons who were christened as Harry and Robert BODENHAM. Harry died in Lancashire and Robert emigrated to Australia in 1925, dying over there. (At the time it was illegal to ‘marry’ one’s deceased sibling’s ex-partner). (So, technically, they were LEWIS children).
