NOTES:-

If this is the correct father, Robert, 1664, he must have been 40 when first married, and if as indicated above he remarried, he would then have been having children when aged 52 to 56…. Not impossible, but not all that likely either.

I have no concrete reason to suggest this second marriage of Robert other than the first marriage seems only to have produced one offspring (suggesting a fertile wife). So there may well have been childbirth complications with that event resulting in her demise at some point between 1705 and 1715. If so, the death has yet to be found. However the number of candidates for ‘Robert’ is very limited, so best use has to be made of those available at the time, until proved wrong.

See the ‘Robert’ events treatise behind this sheet where the implications of possible connections are discussed at length. In essence, it is suggested that even if the connections made on these sheets are in error, due to the limited geography of usage of the given name ‘Robert’ the overall connection of those bearing this name must lie somewhere within the bounds of this Gloucestershire family centred around Minsterworth, Taynton, Newent, Oxenhall, Huntley, etc.
