NOTES
Frank BODENHAM (bachelor) was a schoolmaster at Cinderford, and, according to the data received from Cinderford Baptist Chapel, ‘Headmaster of Double View Secondary Modern School’ in Cinderford. The data also suggests that Martin Thomas was known locally as ‘Uncle Tom’!
I have yet to find out more of Albert. I believe I have a photograph of him, in uniform, and that he died in WW2. I think I recall seeing his name on a war memorial in Newent, Glos., but need to re-check this. Until now I had understood his name was ‘Tom’, but there is no such name in the family group in the 1901 census, so I believe the census over the memory of ‘aunt’ Ada!.
There are no known progeny of this family as far as I am aware.
